No Requirement to Be a Tax Filer for Vehicles below 1000cc: Tax Authorities
Tax authorities in Lahore claim that there is not a requirement to being a tax filer for the purchase of a vehicle that falls below 1000cc.
According to the authorities, an applicant for the registration of a car above 1000cc is required to be a filer.
On the other hand, sources claim that manufacturing companies and banks are not accepting bookings from people who are not registered as filers at FBR from July 1.
