Corolla Sport: Toyota Extends its New Hatchback Globally

Toyota Corolla Sport was first launched at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. It is called the Toyota Auris in Europe.

This C-segment five-door has been launched in the USA as the Corolla Hatchback. Recently, was launched in Japan where it is known as Corolla Sport. The Japanese automaker says Taiwan is next up in September.

It is based on the TNGA platform. Depending on the markets, a variety of engines are available including 1.8- and 2.0-liter petrol engines, hybrid versions of them and 1.2-liter petrol-turbo.
