Chinese Electric Car Companies Eye Pakistani Market

The auto industry is going through major transformations. It is moving from fossil-fuel vehicles to electric motor engines to protect the world from pollution and gain other objectives.

According to source in the Engineering Development Board (EDB), a number of Chinese automakers have signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with local Pakistani companies to launch electric vehicles in the country.

With the influx of many entrants into Pakistan, it seems that the gap between the demand and supply of the vehicles will not remain an issue in the upcoming years.
