Toyota to Ramp up Production of Fuel Cell Stacks and Hydrogen Tanks

Toyota is aiming to increase the sale of fuel cell cars by scaling up its production of fuel cell stacks and hydrogen tanks. The Japanese automaker is moving the production of hydrogen fuel stacks to a new facility within Toyota City, Japan, while a new line for building hydrogen tanks will be built within Toyota’s Shimoyama Plant.

Toyota confirms its goal of selling ten times as many hydrogen-powered vehicles from 2020 as it does today.
