Demand of Self-Driving Car maximize in Japan

Google Inc. (GOOG) and global automakers are planning to launch Self-driving cars that help in countering the slacking demand from younger customers. Japanese used cars dealer strive to trap the fastest-growing demographic in the world's biggest vehicle marketplace: the elderly.

 

In the present world, as millions of older drivers being killed or injured in road accidents in markets including the U.S. And Japan, it may spur demand for autonomous automobiles. A recent survey shows that 90 percent of traffic accidents caused by human error, a key benefit of the technology is boosting safety, executives from automakers including General Motors Co. (GM) and Toyota Motor Corp. said at an industry conference in Tokyo last week.   


“Seniors are often regarded as the victims of traffic accidents, Moritaka Yoshida, managing officer and chief safety technology officer at Toyota (7203), said this month as the company declared plans for automated-driving systems. ‘‘However, recently an increasing number of accidents are caused by senior drivers.’’
