Renault Establishes Car Plant in Punjab

Renault has decided to establish its car manufacturing plant in Faisalabad after facing long delays in land acquisition in Karachi’s Bin Qasim Industrial Park.

The French automaker plans to acquire 54 acres of land in Faisalabad in a few days to establish a car assembling plant with a planned investment of $140 million.

Al-Futtaim motors and Groupe Renault had signed an agreement for the assembly and distribution of Renault vehicles in Pakistan.
