PAMA Seeks Measures to Reduce Costs of the Locally Manufactured Cars

In its budget proposal, Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association has proposed measures to reduce the cost of locally manufactured cars to benefit people.

PAMA urged the government to exempt steel from regulatory duty, reduce the withholding tax on the proceeds of exported goods to 0.5 from 1.0 percent, with other measures to reduce the cost of locally produced vehicles.
