Nikkei Climbed to Highest Closing Level Since 1996

Japan’ Nikkei share average rose to 21-year high on Monday and climbed 0.5 percent to 21,255.56 as dollar stayed steady against the yen.

This is the highest closing level for Nikkei since late 1996. It extended its winning streak to 10 days, its longest since May 2015.

The dollar was flat at 118.9 yen.
