Karachi: Bike Riders to Pay Fine for not Wearing Helmets

Latest figures from Karachi police show that at average five accidents happen in city every day. These figures, however, are from police. There are many other accidents that go unnoticed.

The Deputy Inspector General Traffic Police of Karachi has issued an order for traffic wardens to stop and fine all riders who are not wearing a helmet. This decision has been taken after increasing accidents in Karachi involving motorcyclists.
