Four giant Japanese automakers have shaken the hands to establish more electric car charging stations across all over the country.

Toyota, NissanHonda and Mitsubishi are looking forward to pave the way for making the electrical vehicles more viral in the country by setting up some more electric vehicles charging stations.

Four Automakers are getting together for more electric vehicle charging stations in Japan.

These four car manufacturers are looking to install 12,000 charging stations at different shopping centers, restaurants, motorway service areas and at petrol stations. Currently 5,000 electric car charging stations are working in the Japan.

The aim behind this project is to enhance the demand of electric vehicles by making up 15 to 20 percent of new cars sales by 2020. Last year, the car companies helped themselves to a combined sale of 26,00 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. That was only 0.5 percent of new cars sold in the domestic market of Japan.
