Budget 2017-18: Govt Suggests Decreasing Withholding Tax on Automobiles

Good news for auto industry, as government has recommended a decrease in withholding tax on registration of automobiles.

In his budget speech, federal minister Ishaq Dar, proposed RS 10,000 to RS 7500 on the registration of 850CC cars  and RS 20,000 to RS 15,000 for 851 CC to 1000 CC cars. He has also recommended a shrink in withholding tax on 1300 CC cars from RS 30, 000 to RS 25,000.
