Toyota Recalls 2.9 Million Vehicles over Air Bags

Toyota is recalling 2.9 Million vehicles all over the world. Regions where the Toyota vehicles are to be recalled are Japan, Oceana, china and some other regions. Mitsubishi Cars, Fuji Heavy industries, and Truck Maker Hino have also recalled 240000 vehicles due to inflators.

Vehicles recall due to inflators made by Takata that can explode when exposed to prolonged heat conditions.

However, Vehicles sold in North America, Toyota’s biggest market, were exempted from this recall.
