Tesla Sold 49.5% More Chinese Made Car in August as Compared to July

Electric car maker Tesla saw a rebound in sales in China after domestic sales of Chinese-made vehicles fell 69% in July compared with 28,138 Tesla cars sold to Chinese customers in June. Domestic sales of vehicles made in China totalled 12,885 vehicles, an increase of 49.5% from the 8,621 vehicles Tesla sold in July. For August, Tesla sold 44,264 cars made in China, but nearly 75% of them (31,379 vehicles) were exported to other countries, mainly in Europe. This compares to Tesla's June sales in China, which were much better. In June, sales of Tesla cars made in China reached 33,155 cars. Of this, 84% (28,138 vehicles) were sold to customers in China.
