Tesla Could Set up the Next Gigafactory Factory in India For Electric Vehicle Production

According to Musk's tweet, Tesla is working on finalizing a list of countries where he will eventually set up his new operation. The CEO also hinted that Tesla could enter India as early as 2019, even though at that time the company only focused on expanding existing networks in China, the United States, Eastern Europe, and the United States, Japan. Musk confirmed Tesla's plans for India in a December 2020 tweet announcing that an electric vehicle maker will be present in the country in 2021. Tesla has also received a lot of support from Indian government agencies. The country's Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari, has publicly stated that the California-based company would receive attractive incentives to set up production facilities in India.
