In Texas Tesla Crash Result 2 People Dead, Initial Report Determines no one was on Driver Seat

 

Two people died in Texas on Sunday after a Tesla Model S rolled off a freeway and hit a tree at full speed. The crash was highly unusual, as investigators determined that neither of the two victims was driving at the time of the crash. Police Mark Herman said the 2019 Tesla Model S was traveling on a freeway near Woodlands, Texas. The deputy said the Model S sedan was traveling at high speed when the vehicle made a slight turn, exited the freeway about 100 feet and struck a tree.
