BMW Unveils iX Electric SUV: new Competition for Tesla Cars

BMW says the iX is the most advanced and intelligent car it has ever built. It will go into production at BMW Dingolfing in the second half of 2021, and BMW has said that the iX electric vehicle should have a driving range of 300 miles (480 km) and will produce around 500 hp. The electric powertrain will propel the BMW iX from 0 to 100 km / h (62 mph) in less than 5.0 seconds, the automaker claims. Like many other electric vehicles hitting the market, the iX will also support fast charging, with new charging technology enabling fast DC charging at speeds of up to 200 kW. Drivers will be able to add nearly 75 miles of range in just ten minutes at the fast-charging station.
