UAE Coronavirus: Dubai Residents Can Renew Their Cars without Paying A Fine

Motorists in Dubai will be able to renew their vehicle registrations via online channels alone from March 22, confirmed the Highway and Transport Authority (RTA). The authority that the owners have exempted from vehicle inspection, fines and traffic black spots for the next three months. The Interior Ministry said on Thursday that the move was part of the country's preventive measures to protect Covid-19 customers. "Customers can benefit from this measure without having to pay fines, carry out vehicle inspections or risk confiscation or traffic areas," the ministry tweeted.
