Honda’s Philippine Unit to Close Auto Production Plant

 

The Honda Motor Co Ltd announced on Saturday that they will close the auto production plant in the Philippines which is located in the capital Manila. The Japanese third largest automobile manufacturer faces a decline by more than half in their sales in the past two years due to many problems in the quality of the vehicles. The officials of Honda Company said that they use their resources more efficiently to meet the customer’s requirement with good quality products and reasonable prices, the company also added in their statement that they will focus on other hubs in Asia and Oceania. Honda unit in the Philippines has more than 650 employees and associates, the plant started its production operation first time in 1992. This plant manufacture passenger cars, BR-V on local demand.
