Senate Criticize Auto Industry of Pakistan about Lack of Safety Features in Vehicles

Poor safety features in locally manufactured vehicles in Pakistan which was reported by the local media due to some tragic incidents, put the local car manufacturer under fire in the senate.

The Senate Criticize Auto manufacturing companies of Pakistan on the issue of not checking the necessary safety features and quality of the vehicles which put the customer’s life in danger. The Senate also said that even after increasing the prices of the vehicles the local auto manufacturing companies didn’t confirmed the safety and quality standard.

The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Azam Swati stated that the draft of new auto policies and rules are submitted to the federal cabinet, According to this draft those companies which will not provide vehicles with meeting the safety standard policy will be penalize.
