44.4% Drop on Car Sales in November 2019 Reported by PAMA

According to the report of Pakistan Automotive Manufacturing Association (PAMA) 44.4% decrease in the sales of new car in the month of November 2019, the year on year analysis shows that in November 2018, 15,334 units were sold as compared to 8,524 units in this year in November. This is the huge loss the for the auto sector, there are several factors which are damaging the Auto sector of Pakistan and one of them is the devaluation of Pakistani Rupee against Dollar.

Car manufacturing Companies significantly increased the price of vehicles from time to time and bad effect of devaluation of rupee on the customers. Due to these worse conditions Pakistani people are unable to afford cars as the result the demand of vehicles fall to 44.4%.

However the Auto policy 2016-2021 attracted new international automobile brands to invest in the auto sector of Pakistan, this can cause a healthy competition between new brands and existing auto mobiles companies, and due to the tough competition we will see downfall in the price and Innovation in the auto sector, which will ultimately increase the quality of the Cars.
