Rs100 Billion Yearly Loss Due To Ban on Used Cars’ Import: PJBC

Pakistan is suffering 100 billion rupees loss every year after the revival of restriction on used cars import, Pakistan Japan Business Council President Rana Abid Hussain said in a meeting.

A few months back, government had introduced SRO 52(1) 2019 in which the Ministry of Commerce revived the condition on import of used cars. Now, the payment of duties and taxes must only be paid in foreign exchange.
