Man gets Fined for washing Car at Home

The surveillance team of WASA imposed Rs.500 fine on a man who was washing his car with a pipe at his home.

It is the first challan of its type after the Lahore High Court imposed a ban on washing cars with hosepipes in Punjab. The Lahore High Court has directed the LDA and WASA to fully impose the ban on service stations who are working without a water recycling system. In addition, the court has also imposed a ban on using hosepipes to wash vehicles in homes in Punjab.
