Punjab Government to Quash Luxury Tax on High-End Vehicles

The government of Punjab has decided to abolish luxury tax on luxury vehicles to increase their registration in the province, a media source reported.

Many people get their cars registered in Islamabad or other provinces to avoid the luxury tax in Punjab, imposed by the government of Punjab.

The government intends to eradicate the tax completely by May 2019.
