New Auto Players Oppose Tax Relief for Pak Suzuki Motor

The newcomers in the auto sector of Pakistan have protested against the decision as the government intends to extend tax relief for Pak Suzuki Motors under the new auto policy 2016-2021.

After the introduction of the new policy, several automakers had announced their interest in starting vehicle assembly in Pakitan.

Pakistan Suzuki tried to get tax exemptions from the previous PMLN government but it was not entertained. However, the incumbent government seems to be willing to provide relief to the automaker under the influence of the Japanese government.
