When Should You Replace Spark Plugs? 

Many people blame the battery when the car has trouble starting. While it could be the case, but it is not the only possibility. Worn out or old spark plugs could be the culprit! Keep reading to know when it is time to change the spark plugs of your car.

·        Your Check Engine Light Comes on

The lights on the dashboard reveal a lot about the condition of your car. Worn spark plugs or spark plugs wires can trigger your check engine light to come on. The cars today indicate a check engine light if the spark plugs fail to start.

Since the car engine starts misfiring, the check engine light pops on. A flashy engine light may indicate that harmful misfires are happening.

It makes sense to change spark plugs as part of preventative maintenance depending on the manufacturer’s instructions. It can save from costly repairs as driving with misfiring spark plugs can result in undue stress on the car’s catalytic converter.
